A new project adds to the expertise of our technical department in special glass projects for glass staircases, involving the extraction of measurements using the latest 3D scanning technology to project point clouds in the design of the plans for subsequent manufacturing.
Vidres Berni sl contribution to this new next-generation office building at the gateway to the city of Barcelona has consisted of the production and installation of glass for two metal helical staircases.
The glass used is 10+10 mid-iron laminated safety glass with polished edges, following the curvature of the metal structure. The glass is embedded and secured by custom-designed plates that adapt to the width of the rabbet.
