The company TVITEC-CRICURSA, an international pioneer in the architectural glass sector, dedicated a prominent space in their July newsletter to the GREENVIA BUILDING project, where high-precision curved glass technology was used. This project represents a significant milestone in the integration of curved glass in contemporary architecture and has been executed with the special collaboration of VIDRES BERNI.
Innovation in curved glass railings
TVITEC-CRICURSA was responsible for manufacturing the mid-iron type laminated curved safety glass, following the precise plans developed by VIDRES BERNI. These plans were created using advanced technology, employing 3D scanners for measurement extraction and subsequently projecting this data into a point cloud. This innovative process has enabled the creation of glass railings for two metal helical staircases, perfectly adapting the metal profiles to the curvature of the glass, thus achieving a flawless and high-security finish.
Recognized Collaboration of Vidres Berni
The article published in the newsletter not only highlights the complexity and innovation of the project but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the participating companies. VIDRES BERNI has been a key player in the success of this project, which has been selected as a reference in contemporary architectural trends. This recognition is also reflected in its publication on the TVITEC-CRICURSA website, where the quality and rigor in the project’s execution are highlighted.
At VIDRES BERNI, we are proud to have contributed to the architectural project designed by Batlleiroig and built by VOPI4 for Fonavi, and we highly value our close collaboration with leading companies like TVITEC-CRICURSA.
