Vidres Berni appears as a partner in the fitting of the glass in the Villa Stgilat project (Begur, Girona, 2015) by architect Enric Ruiz-Geli in the magazine ‘Monografías AV 227-228’ (2020) published by the renowned ‘Arquitectura Viva’ magazine. This special issue picks out 24 residential projects from around the world. The project features a sustainable relationship with the environment and the building process. The glass enclosures are shaped to match the Levantine Catalan vaults in the ceiling and this made their manufacture and fitting a real challenge. Covering the concrete pavilion made from inflatable formwork at the top of the plot with glass was also a major task.
